For our client, the world’s leading tank container lessor with a fleet of over 60,000 tanks,we are looking for a M&R Controller Europe. The M&R Controller Europe is responsible for theEU local fleet maintenance and repairprocesssupport of operational area activitities as directed bij Senior Operations Manager Europeand assist in technical matters, interfacing with M&R Technical Surveyor, M&R Manager, Fleet Manager,Senior Operations Manager, area depots, independent surveyors, and customers.

Functional Responsibilities

  • monitoring and updating repair estimates for the depots on a daily basis in accordance with procedures
  • managing the status of damaged tank containers and repair performance of depots
  • assisting in the resolution of repair or technical disputes
  • preparing repair invoices
  • addressing depot managers
  • managing customer specific off-hire data
  • participating in projects


Functie

Your tasks are:

  • monitor the total repair cost
  • resolving any disputes with customers
  • establish with the team priorities for repairs at the depots
  • process and coordinate daily depot activity reports
  • updating TLS for all changes, tank identification, maintenance and repair activities and operational details
  • processing all invoices for repairs, transportation, handling and storage
  • updating and managing customer specific off-hire data
  • visiting depots as necessary to provide input/feedback on critical functions, including M&R protocol, personnel interfacing and depot administration


Functie-eisen

Your profile;

  • at least a completed MBO4 education with HBO work and thinking level;
  • at least 2 years of operational/customer service or administrative work experience;
  • a good command of the Dutch and English language orally and in writing;
  • available for a minimum of 32 hours a week in a hybrid work environment. 1-2 working days from home possible;
  • in possession of a work permit to work in the Netherlands and a permanent home / residence in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship) in South Holland or West Brabant;
  • competencies: analytical, accurate, conscientious, independent, service-oriented, commercial, eager to learn and practical


Skills and Abilities Required

  • effective communication including establishing credibility and trust with customers and employees, and building influential relationships with partners in the business
  • understanding of the chemical- and tank container industry, including their drivers and success factors
  • ability to coordinate activities at various levels within the company and with partners in the industry
  • maintain professional relationships with depots and partners
  • sbility to identify performance expectations/requirements from our customer base to improve added value
  • team player that can work independently and collaboratively
  • initiative and results driven with creative and innovative skills
